Since 1994, The Family Resource Center of Tupelo has been helping meet the needs of less fortunate families in North Mississippi. Those needs are being addressed through the Family Resource Center with crucial programs such as the Joyce Johnston (JJ’s) Food Pantry, Bare Needs Diaper Bank, Children’s Kangaroo Clothes Closet, our Children’s Advocacy Center, our Emergency Family Fund, the Families in Crisis Program and numerous other opportunities to help.
As you are aware the levels of child abuse and trauma have greatly increased, our urgent need for contributions presently is our Children’s Advocacy Center, located at 2901 South Eason Blvd., Tupelo.
The Children’s Advocacy Center’s mission is to provide services to children who have allegedly been sexually or physically abused, witnessed a violent crime or other traumatic circumstances. We partner with local Law Enforcement, Child Protective Services, District Attorney’s office, as well as medical and mental health professionals to ensure safety, justice and well-being for these children.
Please consider making The Children’s Advocacy Center at The Family Resource Center a part of your giving plan. The children living in Lee, Prentiss, Pontotoc, Itawamba, Monroe, Tippah, Union, Chickasaw, Tishomingo, and Alcorn counties thank you in advance for your kind donation.
Your contributions will go a long way toward helping families and especially children in crisis.
Thank you for your valuable contribution.
