We all need to be involved

We all need to be involved

April 10, 2021

More often than not someone saw something that they thought was suspicious, but did not report it. Most cases go unreported because people are afraid to get involved or think that it is none of their business, or are in denial that anything wrong really could be happening. The saying that it takes a village to keep a child safe is true. We all need to be involved.

"A traumatized child’s own voice can often be the quietest thing in the world, a whisper, or a muted gasp played out only in body language. Body language that pleads “HELP ME”, but goes unnoticed, unheard. Other times this voice is so loud (deafening tantrums) it’s often written off as “behavioral” and stopped by parents at all cost – even at the cost of silence." -Project Chance
